We are delighted to announce that our brilliant intern Michael is here to stay, having recently accepted a permanent position as our new Junior Designer. It seems like only yesterday that he walked in to our studio, fresh faced and full of Aussie charm.
After graduating with an impressive First Class BA Honours Degree in graphic design, Michael was looking for his first break. He approached us at the start of June, asking our help to gain some experience of working life at a professional design agency. We loved his portfolio and were keen to see what he could do. At the end of June, we welcomed him through the doors as our new design intern.
From day one, he fit in perfectly. He drinks a ‘Standard Creation Coffee’ (milk, one sugar), has a sweet tooth (liquorice and dark chocolate are favourites) and a huge passion for design.
Over the last couple of months, Michael has had the chance to get his teeth stuck in to a number of great projects, proving his exceptional talent with each piece of work. Projects have included some stunning new business cards for Viva Brazil, informative leaflets for Arriva and posters for local community space Victoria Park.
Not only have we been thrilled with his creativity and dedication, but so too have our clients. If you have already had the pleasure of meeting and working with him, I am sure you will agree what a top designer and thoroughly pleasant chap he is.
